OUR STORY
"KIJANI - MY CHAI, MY TASTE" is black tea owned by Aqua chug royale limited company, which was started in 2018. It started with the now most famous purified drinking water “EPIC ROYALE" which is a people's favorite in Thika road and Nairobi CBD. In five years since I started Aqua chug limited, deep in my heart I knew it was going to work. With over 500 salespersons peddling our different brands across the country I have learned what it takes to turn a hunch into a successful business; A clear vision, yes, and the convictions to see it through, of course, but also a willingness to make changes on the go and nerves of highly tempered steel.
Finding a naturally flavorful black tea that meets our standard is the only beginning of our sourcing process. We acquire our black tea from different factories across the country.
Our visits takes as throughout the major tea growing regions of Kenya like;
NYERI
Gathuthi and Chinga tea factories .
MERU
Githongo and Imenti tea factories.
KIAMBU
Maraba tea factory,
Ngorongo tea factory,
Kambaa tea factory among others.
We believe sourcing in person gives us full control of the quality of our black tea.
The key to listening to customers is to actually do
something with the information
they give you. And that's why
after performing our survey we
decided it is best to package
our tea in jars for easy use and
storage without having to worry
about keeping the tea fresh
and giving it a longer shelf-life
We couldn't have come so far without the
blessings of Mother Nature and the support of
our farmers. So we strive hard to hold ourselves
to the highest social and environmental
standards.
